The Fintria Group, consisting of six companies, is one of the strongest and most reliable organisations to be found domestically in Italy and internationally. The Group was founded by the entrepreneur, Pompeo Tria, who now runs it with his children, Paolo and Anna, and Maurizio Bottazzi. Step Impianti Srl, an operating company and a cornerstone in the Group, was established in 1995 in Trieste, Italy, and is currently managed by the engineer, Maurizio Bottazzi. Initially, the company focused on the construction and maintenance of industrial systems. Over the years, the company expanded its operations to include the iron and steel, petrochemical, and energy sectors through the progressive development of advanced, technological know-how. Subsequently, the company adapted to growing market needs by broadening its appeal and offering turnkey solutions: engineering, project management, material procurement, assembly, commissioning, and services.
In 2006, Step Impianti acquired an industrial facility in Trieste, Italy, where it located its management offices and built an integrated production hub. The experience and skills acquired allowed the company to obtain the necessary qualities of efficiency and flexibility demanded by the market. The company has been successful in attracting important customers, both in Italy and overseas, and offers its expertise globally.
Digital Impianti Srl was established in 2002 with the aim of applying its design, assembly, and maintenance operations to such sectors as: mechatronics, hydraulic systems, goods lifting and transportation, and mechanical components.
In 2006, SDS Group Srl was founded. As the Group’s real estate company, it manages the acquisition and renovation of prestigious properties.
Step Refrigeration Srl began operations in 2015 with the objective to become the world leader in the design, supply, and maintenance of turnkey refrigeration, air conditioning, and air distribution systems, in both maritime and land-based sectors. Step Refrigeration is involved in the research and development of innovative solutions, seeking ways to improve energy efficiency and reduce the emissions of polluting gases. It currently maintains a global presence and is chosen by the main operators in the cruise tourism sector.
After a long corporate reorganisation process, at the end of 2014, the holding company, Fintria, was established, with headquarters in Rome, in order to ensure greater centrality and greater commercial relevance, two factors which are essential to expanding the Group’s operations across the domestic and international panorama. Fintria provides its commercial, administrative, and financial services to subsidiary companies.
Today, the Group, through the holding company, Fintria, is well structured and able to manage multiple, diverse businesses and projects with a view to continuous growth and development.
